With the themes of friendship and idea of play at its centre, EN GARDE was created with plenty of friends and lots of play.
It was made as part of the 48 Hour Film Project—a global filmmaking competition in which you create a short film in under 48 hours.
the process
Along with a team of co-writers, we wrote the script in under 7 hours, shot it in one 12 hour day, and did post production over 24 hours.
After the project, we all slept well.
the result
The film won 6 awards at 48 Hour Film Project in the Bay Area including Best Film and Best Director.
